Tracking Code

The tracking code is the special part of a URL that Trackfinity uses to credit an affiliate and record statistics. It is different for each affiliate, offer, and creative. To get the tracking code, start with an affiliate's linkcode. For example:

http://example.com/track/NS41LjE3LjE3LjAuMS4yLjMuMC4wLjAuMA

The tracking code is the arbitrary string that follows track/ -- NS41LjE3LjE3LjAuMS4yLjMuMC4wLjAuMA in this case. It won't always be at the end of a URL. For example:

http://example.com/track/NS41LjE3LjE3LjAuMS4yLjMuMC4wLjAuMA/landing_page.html

The tracking code also doesn't always follow track. For example:

http://example.com/signup/process_pixel.php?ocode=NS41LjE3LjE3LjAuMS4yLjMuMC4wLjAuMA

In most Trackfinity URLs, the tracking code is easy to identify because it's the only word that doesn't resemble English.

See our Linkcodes article for more information about tracking code.
